Installation
Once your organization has purchased a subscription to the Altrata Salesforce app, you will receive an email.
The installation URL will be missing your company domain. You will need to replace the section that reads <<node>> in the URL. This should be replaced with your organizations registered Salesforce domain.
Your installation URL will look like the following https://login.salesforce.com/packaging/installPackage.apexp?p0=04tUc000000NHL7IAO
Once you have entered your organization domain into the URL and replaced the node section, you should then put that into your browser which will redirect you to the Altrata installation page. Here you will have the three options shown to you and you will need to select the option that is applicable to you. Our example will demonstrate how to install for all users.
Select "Install for all users". This will ensure that your Salesforce users will have the ability to utilise the Altrata app
Read and then tick the check box informing you of our distribution policy
Press install button
Approve third party access
Press the continue button which will start the install
If you have selected to install the Altrata app for Admins only, you will still have the ability to allow non-admin users to use the app. To grant access to non-admin users please complete the following steps.
Go to "Set up"
Search permission set and then click on it
Click on Manage Assignments
Click add assignment
Search for the user and add to the permission set
Installation usually takes between 5 to 10 minutes. However, on occasion it can take longer
