the individual network section surfaces the people altrata has identified as part of a matched individual's broader network â beyond first and second degree connections â and lets users act on them directly from salesforce the people in this section are also referred to as known associates , and the same data powers salesforce reports on known associates this is a commercial accelerator when working a high value lead or contact, users can see the most relevant associates and pull them into salesforce as leads, contacts, or links to existing records â without leaving the page where to find it individual network appears on the altrata tab of any matched lead, contact, or person account, in the people they know table what the table shows for each associate in the table individual â the matched profile being viewed (the "anchor" person) knows â the associate's name, role, and organization wealth â wealth indicator badges where applicable (license gated; visible to wealth universe customers only) relationship strength â strong / moderate / weak, shown visually overlap â shared role overlap count (see connections â overlap for how this is calculated) click see more people they know at the bottom of the table to expand the full list acting on a known associate each row has an actions dropdown with three options add as lead â create a new salesforce lead linked to the altrata profile add as contact â create a new salesforce contact linked to the altrata profile link to existing record â search your salesforce instance and link the altrata profile to a record that already exists salesforce's standard duplicate prevention rules apply â if a record matching the new lead or contact already exists, you'll be prompted to link instead of create reporting on known associates because add as lead / contact actions write standard salesforce records linked to altrata data, you can build salesforce reports and dashboards on known associates the same way you would on any other lead or contact use this to track how many known associates have been added to salesforce in a given period segment known associates by relationship strength, organization, or industry measure conversion of known associates into pipeline âšī¸ reports are a salesforce advanced feature salesforce core customers can act on known associates inside the altrata tab, but the data isn't written to standard salesforce fields in a way that supports reporting see getting started â core vs advanced if you're unsure which tier you have best practices triage by relationship strength first strong relationships are the most actionable warm introduction paths; start there before working moderate or weak associates use "link to existing record" before "add as lead " if the associate is already in your crm, linking preserves history and avoids duplicates the "add as" actions are for genuinely new records only pair with pathfinder individual network surfaces who is in the network pathfinder shows how to reach them use individual network to identify the target, then jump to pathfinder to find your warmest path in
