The organization financial table captures organization-level financial performance, capital structure, valuation, profitability, and revenue growth metrics that can be used to analyze an organization’s operating results and market valuation at a point in time or over a reporting period.

Organization_Financial Field Descriptions

organization_id (PK)

Unique ID assigned to the Altrata Organization. These IDs enable consistent mapping to other entity IDs within Altrata. Example: 1-org-14994 – Sun Microsystems, Inc.

organization_financial_metric_measurement_date

This is the date the measurement was recorded at.

organization_financial_metric_measurement_type (PK)

The name of the financial metric, e.g., EBITDA, EBITDA_Margin, Earnings_Per_Share, etc.

organization_financial_metric_period_name (PK)

This is the period, during which, the financial metric was measured. The period is usually annual.

organization_financial_metric_value

This is the value of the financial metric, a number. Meaning is given to this value when combined with a unit (organization_financial_unit_type).

organization_financial_unit_type

This is the unit that gives meaning to the organization_financial_metric_value. Examples of these units are Currency , Percent , or Ratio.
