overview pathfinder helps users find the best connections between people , organizations , and your lists , using altrata’s connection data directly inside salesforce it is designed to uncover warm paths and social capital without leaving your crm workflow where to find pathfinder in salesforce pathfinder lives inside the altrata navigation experience open salesforce click the altrata tab in the navigation bar (or find it from the app launcher) click pathfinder how it works pathfinder searches the altrata database to build paths between two endpoints choose your endpoints use the two search fields • from select a person or organization • to select a person or organization pathfinder supports • people to people • people to organizations • organizations to organizations filter connections (top right) use filter by to control which connections appear • all connections • direct connections • 2nd degree connections connection strength pathfinder visually indicates strength in the map • bolder line = stronger connection when you click into a path, pathfinder surfaces relationship detail and strength indicators (example “likely strong”) alongside the roles and organizations that connect the endpoints adjust the network display users can adjust how the network is displayed to explore more options and expand results as needed (for example, loading additional connections from the results view) common use cases and best practices • warm introductions start with a target prospect or organization and locate the cleanest path through the network • prioritize outreach use direct connections first, then broaden to 2nd degree connections • validate context before reaching out open the relationship detail to understand the nature of the link (roles, organizations, dates)
